MANTLE's Citrus Fragrances

Litsea cubeba

In several of MANTLE's nourishing, barrier-strengthening and sea buckthorn-yellow products, you'll find the irresistible scent of Litsea cubeba. Litsea cubeba, or May chang, is a plant whose essential oil has an incredibly fresh, sharp, and sweet citrus scent. This uplifting, tart, and sweet fragrance has been combined with balancing lavender and lemon myrtle in several of MANTLE's products.

Natural citrus perfume

The amazingly fresh and citrus-scented natural perfume found in several of MANTLE's body and hair care products contains top notes of bergamot and lemon, heart notes of lemongrass, and base notes of ginger. The scent acts energizing and refreshing, leaving hair and skin with a fresh, clean citrus scent.

Lemon myrtle

In MANTLE's renewing and deep-cleaning, chlorophyll-green products, you'll find the scent of lemon myrtle. Lemon myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) is a plant whose essential oil has an intense and fresh citrus scent with subtle herbal notes. In several products, floral and calming lavender is added as a balancing middle note.

Cooling and invigorating peppermint has been added to several of MANTLE's products. Peppermint (Mentha piperita oil) has a cryogenic, refreshing, and green scent. Its cooling effect revives tired skin, can soothe irritation and provides a refreshing sensation on the skin during hot days.

To offer something for everyone, we've chosen to formulate several of our products without fragrance. For those who for various reasons don't want or can't tolerate natural fragrance in their skincare, there is a wide range of products to choose from.

Rose

In MANTLE's "Rose Edition" products, you'll find an exclusive and irresistible rose oil . The exclusive essential rose oil used in MANTLE’d products is derived from rose petals handpicked at dawn when the fragrance is at its best, harvested at a specific stage of opening. Rosa damascena (or rose otto) has an understated, elegant, and distinctly modern aroma, more delicate than rose oil distilled from fully open rose blossoms. has an elegant, floral, and modern rose scent. Approximately 1200 roses are used to produce just 1 ml of essential oil.
